The Yakushima Photography Festival (YPF), a collaborative initiative between Japan and France, will be held with the support of Villa Kujoyama, an institution that facilitates cultural exchange between Japan and France, at the Kansai Franco-Japanese Institute in Kyoto. This institution aims to create opportunities for artists from France to participate in a residency program, allowing them to stay and create their work. With the theme of "Intersection," the exhibition will feature works from three photographers and video artists selected by YPF. The exhibition will showcase the convergence of points and intersections arising from a diverse collection of works with different motifs and approaches.
