Phenomenon
Photos are continuing to change and evolve into various forms. Kino Koike uses analog methods including gelatin silver, albumen, and collodion processes in his creations. Kouta Takahashi creates project-based works using research as a means to address questions that arise while interacting with society and people. Yuma Nishimura, whose concept is to leave individuals’ existences behind, creates photographic works using a sculptural approach. This exhibition showcases photography’s potential for transformation as a framework through three artists’ perspectives.
