Co-pic
This exhibition, titled ``Co-pic,'' selects five artists who express themselves through photography from among their diverse activities, and introduces their unique relationships with the world in a variety of ways. There is a landscape that cannot be captured within the framework of ``expression'' or ``work.'' Keitaro Yamaguchi presses the shutter while covering the lens with his left hand. Naoto Iguchi has been doing the impressive act of copying his own face using a two-color copy machine for over 20 years. Atsushi Sugiura touches a photograph that holds deep memories as if admiring it. As the material wears away, it changes into a shape that resembles an old photograph. Yuji Yoneda and Keiyo Nakata's works reflect their perspectives in their daily lives, but they are not just a means of visual expression, but an important means of communication with others. We will consider the perspectives that each of these values is important to.
