Collage city
This exhibition consists of collage works with the theme of "What is a whereabouts?". Whereabouts is a place where one belongs, and a place where one has a meaningful existence. This complexity of physicality and spirituality is the state of place. One day, while visiting Daitokuji Obai-in Temple in Kyoto, the leaves that had fallen into the moss in the garden caught my eye. The presence of these leaves made me realize that I belong to a larger space than this garden (that I am a part of impermanence). Recently, the pandemic of the new coronavirus has subsided, and people have returned to the streets of Kyoto. In order to reconnect 【the relationship between】 me and the city severed by the COVID, I am taking photos walking around the city.
